Ginny Percival

Ginny Percival

Say hello to Ginny Percival.

Ginny joined Breeze Capital in June 2024 and already feels part of the furniture, which is a testament to her on how quickly has she settled in .

Ginny is vegan, a real one but she never tries to force us to eat her homemade beige tofu patty’s or beetroot quarter pounders. Yum.

When she is not in work or foraging for food, Ginny helps out at a local cat shelter and is even doing a Skydive to raise funds for them. This is in addition to her increasingly busy side hustle where she repurposes old fishing nets into travel backpacks.

So Ginny…Over to you.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The happy work environment Breeze has created, even if I do get heckled daily…

Favourite musician?

It changes depending on the mood, but Eminem is always in my Spotify Wrapped

Favourite film or TV series?

Bridesmaids, I love Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig.

How do you relax outside of work?

Walks in nature, cold dips and prosecco. I also turn my hand to a bit of scaffolding if the mood takes me.

If you could change anything about your life up until this point, would you and if so, what would it be?

Life has had its ups and downs, but I am who I am because of it, so I wouldn’t change anything.

Who has had the biggest influence in your life, professional or personal?

My mad mother! She has always been my biggest supporter and she always remains positive no matter what life throws at her.

Biggest success to date, professional or personal

Completing a skydive to try and conquer my fear of heights.

What brings you most happiness?

Spending time in nature and charity shop bargain hunting

What’s your least favourite trait in other people?

Negative people and slow walkers

And your favourite thing about people?

A good sense of humour

Who would you most like to have dinner with?

Mo Gawdat, I’m a big fan of his podcast and I’m making my way through his books. His outlook on life is inspiring.

Summarise your career to date and how you came to work at Breeze Capital

I had various jobs in customer service, hospitality and operative over the years, but my career in finance began at JPM Capital in 2022. I started as an administrator and trained to become an underwriter, but after 2 years I was made redundant.

On the hunt for my next role, I applied for Breeze Capital and turned up to the interview in a bright orange suit and the rest is history…
